The Padre Bay area of Lake Powell has it all: wide beaches and shallows for instruction and practice, concealed narrows to paddle and hike. With arches, soaring cliffs, towering buttes, and a accessible shoreline that allows us to land frequently. Destinations include Labyrinth Canyon, Face Canyon, and West Canyon, all of which provides spectacular hikes.

  • Offered from March to November, on a charter basis only, for a minimum of 6 people.

Our Rainbow Canyons excursion offers astonishing narrow slow canyons from Wetherill to Anasazi Canyons. Standing at 10,388 feet above elevation, Navajo Mountain creates the perfect backdrop for exploring the many winding sandstone canyons on this section of Lake Powell. With a visit to Rainbow Bridge National Monument we will view the world’s largest natural bridge.

The Escalante Arm of Lake Powell and its long side canyons offer our most remote and extended paddling and hiking destinations. Spectacular arches defines this tour with tall Navajo Sandstone walls that recapture the lost image of Glen Canyon.

Trip Insurance

Due to the physical nature of our trips, we recommend that you have adequate medical/evacuation insurance, as you are responsible for any health and medical costs incurred. Additionally, Hidden Canyon Kayak suggests that you purchase travel insurance to cover cancellation, trip interruption, baggage loss, and accidents. We recommend CSA Travel Protection.

Park Entrance Fee

All vehicles entering the Glen Canyon are subject to a $25 entrance fee. National Park Annual Passes are accepted. Please visit National Park Service’s website for more information.
